David is the Associate Dean of Students reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor & Dean of Students and serving as part of the Dean of Students' central leadership team regarding implementation of strategic priorities, goals, budget, and fund-raising initiatives. David additionally oversees areas responsible for student advocacy, first year student initiatives, assessment, and crisis response. In his role, David often works with students who need help in navigating and finding the appropriate resources for students with a range of experiences from those that are experiencing significant challenges to those simply wanting to find ways to connect and get involved in the campus community.
David holds a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from George Washington University. David is also an alumnus of the University of Oklahoma where he earned a bachelor's degree in English Literature and a master's degree in Human Relations with emphases in organizational development and multicultural relations.
